Namma HSR Namma Neighbourhood - Neighbourhood Improvement Program(NIP)

My vision is to make HSR Layout the best place to live in Bengaluru. In this regards, I would like to introduce a novel programme titled Neighbourhood Improvement Programme ( NIP), in our HSR Layout Ward no 174 which has been under evolution for some time now. What is striking is that this has been a never-before exercise in our city.

The Neighbourhood Improvement Program is a broad based initiative which brings under its umbrella civic, social and cultural activities. It addresses various topics such as increasing traffic, pedestrian safety, public spaces such as parks, health, education, public transport, solid waste management, surface water management, tree plantation, street and park lightings and many other areas. The solutions are arrived at holistically, various govenment agencies and NGOs are brought together to co-ordinate and integrate the development in a comprhensive manner.
